Quality Assurance Committees
It is essential that quality assurance activities are organised and planned with significant input from professionals working in the service. The Quality Assurance Reference Centre has established a number of specialist committees to achieve this.
Across the region representatives from each aspect of the service meet regularly to discuss changes to the cervical screening programme and to look at how they can continue to improve their performance and the service for women.
Cervical Screening Quality Assurance Team
The QA Team is made up of professional staff who represent all areas of work covered by the cervical screening programme.
Their main roles are to provide advice and expertise to the QA Reference Centre and participate in cervical screening QA Team Visits. The QA Team is chaired by the Regional QA Director. The professional staff on the QA Team are as follows:
